This is what to do with the three new files: a) Drag the file called "Math Trek 10,11,12" (with the globe icon) onto the folder called "Math Trek 10,11,12" in your existing installation of Math Trek. When asked if you want to replace the existing file by that name, click "Yes". b) Drag the file called "Module Launcher" onto the folder called "Math Trek Modules". This folder is located inside the "Math Trek 10,11,12" folder. c) Drag the file called "Module Launcher.rsc" onto the folder called folder "Math Trek Modules".

When running individual modules without tracking, you can avoid the "file too old" message by executing the RunAPM 3.0 file found in the Documents folder. Double click on RunAPM and then from the File menu open the module you would like to run.

Workstations must have a browser and an Internet connection. Two plug-ins are necessary to view the Internet version of RWA. They are Macromedia Webplayer and ShockWave Player. The links to these plug-ins are provided on the Literacy.htm web page. These must only be installed once.

For Microsoft Internet Explorer users:

Click the Webplayer link and select "INSTALL NOW" button, which will take you to a page that automatically downloads and installs the Authorware Web Player into Internet Explorer. The installation process can take more than 20 minutes if you are using a 28.8 modem connection. Please be patient. Once installed the control will play animated Authorware content, indicating that you have successfully installed the Authorware Web Player.

For Netscape users:

Click the "DOWNLOAD NOW" button. You will be prompted to save the Web Player installer to your harddrive. Exit Netscape and execute the "Authorware_Web_Player.exe" file from the directory where it was saved and follow the instructions. Relaunch your browser and return to the RWA Web page.

Notes:

- To access RWA, enter URL http://www.schoolboard.on.ca/literacy/literacy.htm (replace www.schoolboard.on.ca with your web address)
